i’ve always wanted to be a source of encouragement, a source of hope to other people. one of my desires is to inspire other people. it may not be grand or elegant things that i could do, but in simple things like an encouraging word, a shoulder to lean on, a hug or even a smile.

why is it easier to complain and rant than think of blessings that we receive? i’m guilty of complaining more and ranting more, than being grateful and thankful to God for all His blessings. i still thank Him, but not as often as my complaints.
I’ve been facilitating the English Conversation Class for more than 2 years now. I’m not an English major, and I know that I’m not really qualified to teach it. But since I’m the only foreigner in the office who could speak it well, the job’s mine.
This job’s really frustrating. I’m running out of ideas and the people attending it is getting fewer. Of course, their attendance depends on their workload. So if they’re not that busy, they could attend the class. Or even if they’re not that busy, their attendance also depends on the time they wake up and the situation of the traffic going to the office.
My very first survey on this site. Jennina tagged me last March, I know it’s a bit late, but here goes..
Rule: Post 10 things that recently made you happy then tag 10 people and force them to post this meme on their blogs.
1. Buying a new HDD and finally reformatting my computer.
2. Talking to my family.
3. Chatting with friends online, especially those whom I haven’t talked to for a while.
4. Saturday mass and after-mass dinner with the choir.
5. Talking with Thyra on the phone for more than 4 hours.
6. My team’s nomikai and Karaoke last Friday.
7. Discovering that my microwave is also an oven, grill and toaster.
8. Drinking a hot white chocolate mocha from Starbucks.
9. Receiving my very first credit card in Japan.
10. Playing the piano during the saturday mass.
Then I’m tagging Leda, Kuya Bernard, Kadyo, and Ate Renee. The remaining 6 is to follow. hahaha.
I finally reformatted my computer last weekend. I’ve been thinking of doing this task for so long, but I can’t really start because of the hassle of doing this. You know.. Making a back-up of all the files that I have, my messages and emails.. But after a “small accident” in my HDD (I was trying to make a partition, but in the middle of the process an error occurred), I was forced to buy a new HDD and install my OS there.
So right now, I’m enjoying a clean slate in my computer. Clean installation. And of course, I was able to retrieve my files from my other HDD.
